In case, customer wants to upgrade the Network Interfaces after initial purchase, it is possible to upgrade the interfaces by Network Interface upgrade licenses.
- 2x1GB to 4x1GB Interface Upgrade
- 2x1GB to 1x10GB Interface Upgrade
- 4x1GB to 1x10GB Interface Upgrade

1x10GB Interfaces- The 10GB mode always operates on media port 0
- Media ports:1, 2, and 3 will be inactive
- 10GB SFP should be installed on Media Port 0

system and Logical Volume Manager (LVM) is the subsystem that monitors those ports. Each of these sub-systems are modified to check both the configuration and the licensing. Media port operating in 10GbE mode supports 10Gb/s speed with full-duple and auto-negotiations is unsupported in this mode. And media ports operating in 1GbE mode supports auto-negotiation with advertised capabilities of 1Gb/s speed in full duplex mode.
