Static ARP tables manually map IP addresses to physical MAC addresses. This mapping is normally performed automatically, so Static ARP's are seldom used. They can be useful for troubleshooting and very specific performance optimization.

Working with Static ARP Tables

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Protocols > IP > Static ARP Tables. See below for examples for both

To view a Static ARP Table's properties:

  1. Click the pop-up icon () next to the entry you want to view.
  2. When you are finished, close the window.

To delete an entry, select the checkbox next to the entry and then click the Delete () icon.
