Windows Firewall Rules supports IPv4 only, not IPv6.
To create or modify a Windows Firewall Rule:
In the left navigation pane, go to Application Solution Module > Windows Firewall.
To delete an entry, select the checkbox next to the entry and then click the Delete () icon.
To create a rule :
Click the Create a Windows Firewall Rule ( )icon .
A descriptive name for the rule. The name should reflect the purpose of the rule.
Specifies whether or not the rule is enabled.
Specifies the protocol to which the rule applies.
The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) port number for various protocols. This field is only visible when Custom is selected in the Protocol list box.
Specifies whether the rule allows or denies traffic matching the parameters of the rule.
Specified whether Service, Port Range, or Application type is used to select the port. This field is only visible when the Protocol option is TCP or UDP.
Specifies whether the rule is for a particular IP Protocol service, or a range of ports in the IP Protocol, or a Windows application can be specified. This field is only visible when the Protocol option is TCP or UDP.
Specifies the Windows application to which the rule applies. Specify the full path name to the .exe file for the application. This field is only visible when Application is selected from the Port Selection Method list.
The IPv4 source address of the packets subject to this rule.
The subnet mask of the source IP address.
The minimum port number associated with the source packets subject to this rule. Visible only when Range is selected in the Port Selection Method list.
The maximum port number associated with the source packets subject to this rule. Visible only when Range is selected in the Port Selection Method list.
The IPv4 destination address of the packets subject to this rule.
The subnet mask of the destination IP address.
The minimum port number associated with the destination packets subject to this rule.Visible only when Range is selected in the Port Selection Method list.
The maximum port number associated with the destination packets subject to this rule. Visible only when Range is selected in the Port Selection Method list.
