Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) Cache is a read only table which contains the Static and Dynamic ARP entries.

How to View the ARP Cache

To view the ARP Cache table:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Diagnostics tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Tools > ARP Cache.

The following table describes the fields of ARP Cache table.

Field NameDescription
IP Address

Specifies the IP Address of a neighboring node or cache table.

Mac Address

Specifies the Mac Address
InterfaceSpecifies the Interface Name
Type

The origin of the routing entry (For example, Static and Dynamic).

To sort the data in any of the columns, click the column name. For example, click IP Address to sort the IP addresses.

How to Clear the ARP Cache

To clear the dynamic entries in ARP Cache,

  1. In the WebUI, click the Diagnostics tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Tools > ARP Cache.
  3. Click the Clear Dynamic Entries option on the top of the ARP Cache window.

  4. A dialog box appears that prompts you to confirm the changes. Click OK.

The dynamic entries in the ARP Cache are deleted.

You cannot clear the static entries. Only dynamic entries in ARP Cache can be deleted.
