Use this object to configure ENUM service.
To support ENUM services for SBC in ERE mode, manually create an ACL rule towards ENUM server to allow the packets (ENUM responses) from ENUM server into SBC.
Set Fill Rate
to a higher value (for example, Fill Rate
= 2000) to support high ENUM call loads (more than 20 cps). See Ip Access Control List - Rule for configuration details.
To View Enum Service
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Call Routing > Servers > Enum Service. The Enum Service window is displayed.

To Edit Enum Service
To edit any of the Enum Service in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Enum Service name.

To Create Enum Service
To create a new Enum Service, click New Enum Service tab on the Enum Service List panel.

Priority | Specifies the priority (order) of ENUM service execution. If this parameter is not set or set to the default of 129, default priorities are assigned for LNP (130), CNAM (131) and SIP AoR (132). If a different order of service execution is desired, set the priorities accordingly. For example, setting CNAM priority to 133 executes SIP AoR before CNAM. |
To Copy Enum Service
To copy any of the created Enum Service and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Enum Service to highlight the row.

Process Calling Number | Enable this flag to analyze the calling number using prefix profile. When this flag is disabled, the calling number is not analyzed and hence if it has +CC, the same is sent as-is to SBC in the calling number field in policy response. The options are: |
Process New ANI | When this flag is enabled for ENUM AoR service, and ENUM AoR response contains "newani=<some_number> " parameter in NAPTR record, the ERE overwrites the existing calling number of the call with the newANI number. When this flag is disabled, any newANI parameters received in NAPTR response are ignored in PES. The options are: |

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Enum Service is displayed at the bottom of the original Enum Service in the Enum Service List panel.
To Delete Enum Service
To delete any of the created Enum Service, click the radio button next to the specific Enum Service which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click OK to remove the specific Enum Service from the list.
