To create or modify an existing SNMP Management Address:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to SNMP/Alarms > SNMP Management Addresses.

Modifying SNMP Management Addresses

  1. Click the expand () Icon next to the entry you wish to modify.
  2. Edit the entry properties as required, see details below.

Creating SNMP Management Addresses

The SBC supports IPv4 addresses for this feature; IPv6 is not supported.

  1. Click the Create SNMP Manager Address ( ) icon at the top of the SNMP Management Addresses Table page.

SNMP Management Address - Field Definitions

Manager Address

Specifies the SMNP Manager IP Address or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).

Community

A password used between the SNMP Manager and the agent (Sonus SBC 1000/2000).

Community Type

Specifies whether the community is read-only or Read/Write.

Trap

Specifies whether or not the manager accepts traps.
