Transformation tables may be exported from one SBC 1000/2000 node and imported into another in order to save time when deploying additional nodes at one or more sites without the aid of an EMS auto-provisioning system. Transformation tables are exported as XML files. 

Imported transformation tables are appended to pre-existing tables on the target node, no transformation tables on the target node are deleted or modified by the import operation.

Exporting Transformation Tables

To export transformation tables:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to: Import/Export Configuration Items > Transformation Tables.

  3. Select Export from the select box in the Transformation Tables Import/Export dialog.
  4. Click OK.
    You will be prompted to save the file, if you do not choose a  custom name, the file will be saved as TransTableConfig.xml

 

Importing Transformation Tables

To import transformation tables:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to: Import/Export Configuration Items > Transformation Tables.

  3. Select Import from the select box in the Transformation Tables Import/Export dialog
  4. Click Select Export from the select box in the Transformation Tables Import/Export dialog.
  5. Browse and select the transformation table XML file to be imported.
  6. Click OK.
