DNS allows one host to refer to another host by its name instead of its IP address (for example, google.com instead of 172.217.5.110). DNS service is hosted on the Internet, so you have to must point your EdgeMarc to it. You can configure DNS manually by selecting the Manually set DNS check-box checkbox and entering information in the fields, or you can get it automatically.

  3. Select the Manually set DNS check-box checkbox to enable manual DNS settings. The check-box checkbox is selected by default on most systems.
  4. In the Primary DNS Server field, enter the Primary server address.

  6. Click Submit to apply your changes. A message indicates that service will be temporarily interrupted.
  7. Click OK to confirm.
