This operation is used to configure the IP settings for the Application Solution Module (ASM). The SBC supports two ASM network adapters. Each adapter can be configured with IP settings, such as an IP address and DNS address (Network Adapter 2 is optional).  This is an essential requirement in order to ensure that the Managing the SBC Communication Service becomes operational.

IPv4/IPv6 Addressing Supported per Network Adapter

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Application Solution Module > ASM Configuration. For field definitions, see ASM Configuration - Field Definitions.

    The example below shows DHCP disabled for IPv4 on Network Adapter 1 and enabled for IPv4 on Network Adapter 2.

  3. From DHCPv4 Enabled, select Yes. Depending on the IP Addressing mode selected, IPv4 and/or IPv6 options are displayed. See below:

  4. Update configuration (see Configuring the ASM IP Settings#Network Network Adapter 1 Configuration - Field Definitions and Configuring the ASM IP Settings#Network Network Adapter 2 Configuration - Field Definitions.

  5. Click Apply.
