Linked Signaling Groups - Things to Note

  • Any Linked Signaling Group (SIP or ISDN) going "down" because of its corresponding link Signaling Group going down, will also mark the call route entries as "down"; if all destination linked Signaling Group is down, the call route becomes inactive and an alarm is raised.

  • When a linked Signaling Group goes down (SIP/ISDN), the respective alarms are raised, but cleared when the Signaling Group(s) comes back up. See Viewing Alarms and Events.
  • When a SIP Signaling group registers to an external SIP Server and the linked ISDN Signaling Group goes "down", the SIP Signaling Group sends an unREGISTER to the configured SIP server.

Working with Linked Signaling Groups

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Signaling Group Peers. Caption0Figure1Signaling Group Peers Table

To view a Linked Signaling Groups properties:

  1. Click the pop-up icon () next to the entry you want to view.

  2. When you are finished, close the window.
