This page describes the procedure for backing up your Sonus SBC 1000/2000

 (SBC) system configuration to a file. The backup data will include the following Sonus SBC 1000/2000 data elements:

  1. The configuration file (including any imported certificates)
  2. The local users and passwords
  3. The pre and post login messages

  1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click System > Backup/Restore Config.

  3. From the Operation drop down box, select Backup Configuration.

  4. Enter a Passphrase for configuration back up (optional; up to 128 alpha-numeric characters). In the WebUI, scroll the mouse over the Passphrase field (in blue) for additional information.

    Note

    A passphrase is optional and, if provided, will be used in place of a node-specific cipher key to protect AD Credentials, Shared Keys, and other sensitive data.

  5. Enter the same password in the Confirm Passphrase box.

  6. Click OK.

Helpful Tip: You may want to rename your backup file to a name that indicates the current software version and/or system configuration.
