The
hardware platform comes equipped with four media ports and is available in three models based on the media port configuration. Customers must purchase the appropriate model based on their interface and capacity requirements. The media ports are enabled on the chassis depending upon the network interface license installed. - The 2 x 10 Gbps flavor of the SBC 5400 does not support full-bandwidth DoS protection on both the packet ports.
- On a 2 x 10 Gbps flavor of the SBC 5400, the two 10 GE packet ports do not support an active-standby port redundancy model with each other. Both the ports are active when enabled on an Active SBC node, and both the ports are standby on a Standby SBC node.
- A single SBC-1 X 10 GMP packet port license is used to enable both 10 GE packet ports on an SBC 5400 in 10 Gbps mode.
