The Sonus SBC 1000/2000 supports
supports the logging of accounting and call metrics related data on RADIUS based accounting servers, functioning as a RADIUS client sending Call Detail Records (CDR) to RADIUS accounting servers.
The CDR feature of the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 enables
enables administrators and users to gather a wealth of information specific to calls placed and/or received through the
Sonus SBC 1000/2000. Call Detail Records are stored on a RADIUS server using both a standard Radius Dictionary and an Sonus specific
RADIUS Dictionary that can be retrieved from the server at anytime. Depending on your RADIUS server configuration, records can be stored either in plain text format in date coded log files, or directly in a relational database.
The CDR feature provides information on incoming and outgoing calls for accounting and administration purposes. The Sonus SBC 1000/2000 collects
collects data for every call and reports it to a third-party RADIUS-based accounting server in the form of Call Detail Records which consist of
