Use the Local Record - Data window to create and work with the data associated with a local DNS record. Local DNS resource records are associated with a particular address context and DNS group and are used to locally resolve an FQDN rather than querying an external server. Configure the basic parameters of a local record on the Local Record window. Then use the Local Record - Data window to configure one or more data entries for the local DNS resource record. Each data ntry must have entry must contain a unique index.

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > → System Provisioning > → Category: Base Provisioning > → DNS > → Servers > → DNS > → DNS Group > → Local Record > → Data or
All > Address Context > DNS Group >→ Address Context → DNS Group → Local Record > → Data
The Data window is displayed. Use the Address Context, DNS Group, and Local Record drop-down lists to filter the list.

To create a data entry to associate with a local DNS resource record, you must first specify the address context, DNS group, and local record with which you want to associate the data. To create a new data entry for a local DNS resource record:
