This operation is used to configure the IP settings for the Application Solution Module (ASM). The SBC supports two ASM network adapters. Each adapter can be configured with IP settings, such as an IP address and DNS address (Network Adapter 2 is optional).  This is an essential requirement in order to ensure that the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 Communication Service becomes operational.

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Application Solution Module > ASM Configuration.

  3. Select No from the DHCPv4 Enabled menu.

  4. Enter the required IP settings. For field definitions, see ASM Configuration - Field Definitions.

    A "Current Activity Status" status window displays the progressof the change; this operation typically takes a few seconds.

    The example below shows DHCP disabled for IPv4 on Network Adapter 1 and enabled for IPv4 on Network Adapter 2.

  3. From DHCPv4 Enabled, select Yes. Depending on the IP Addressing mode selected, IPv4 and/or IPv6 options are displayed. See below:

  4. Update configuration (see Network Adapter 1 Configuration - Field Definitions and Network Adapter 2 Configuration - Field Definitions.
  5. Click Apply.
