  1. Log in to the Web UI as root.
  2. Locate the Alarm.
    1. Click the alarm category count at the top of the Web UI screen.
    2. Click this alarm number.
    3. Click the date of the occurrence.

  3. Make note of the affected card.
  4. From the System Main Menu, click Processes.
  5. Click Top Processes and identify those processes exhibiting high CPU Usage levels.
  6. Determine if a process or critical Alarm indicates the system is under stress (for example, congestion or excessive message discards).
  7. Raise the Critical CPU Usage Alarm Threshold if there are no indications of system stress.
  8. Follow the Recommended Actions for any critical Alarms present.
  9. Contact Customer Contact Customer Support and provide the information you have collected if you require advice regarding further action.
