If there is no DHCP server answering requests, a 169 addressing scheme is assigned to the ASM after a timeout period.

Enable DHCP:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Application Solution Module > ASM Configuration. For field definitions, see ASM Configuration - Field Definitions.

    The example below shows DHCP disabled for IPv4 on Network Adapter 1 and enabled for IPv4 on Network Adapter 2.

  3. From DHCPv4 Enabled, select Yes. Depending on the IP Addressing mode selected, IPv4 and/or IPv6 options are displayed. See below:

  4. Update configuration (see Network Adapter 1 Configuration - Field Definitions and Network Adapter 2 Configuration - Field Definitions.
