Required Tools

Before you install the

Spacevars

chassis into a rack, make sure that you have the following tools and equipment readily available:

  • #2 Phillips screwdriver (to install brackets and the chassis)
  • 7/16" (11 mm) wrench (to attach earth ground lug)
  • Label maker (to label cables, if needed)
  • Voltmeter (for installing units with DC power supplies)
  • A marker or masking tape to mark mounting holes
