To complete the deployment, you must start the following Lync Services on the ASM in order for it to function as a Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA):
- Lync Server, Front-End Service
- Lync Server, Mediation Service
At this stage those services are Not Running, you can verify this by Viewing the SBA Operational Status:

To Start the Lync SBA Services
Click the Start SBA Services

- A series of status messages will be dispatched:
The Lync services are started:

The action succeeds:

Verifying the Lync SBA Services are Running
When Viewing the SBA Operational Status, these services will appear as Running as shown below:
