Not supported by SBC SWe Lite in this release.

This operation allows you to start and stop the following SBA services from the WebUI:

  • Lync Server 2010 Services:
    • Mediation Service
    • Front-End Service
  • Remote Desktop Service for the ASM

If stopped, the Remote Desktop service will start after the ASM is restarted only if it is configured as enabled in the ASM IP settings.

Starting and Stopping an SBA Service

  1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, under the Lync™ Survivable Branch Appliance, click Start/Stop Services.

  3. In the Service Action, select the desired operation
  4. In the Service Name, select the service you wish to start/stop
  5. Click OK.
    Two status message are displayed:
    1. Current Activity Status: The operation is being applied on the ASM.
    2. Current Activity Satus: The operation is complete.
