Use this page to configure the entries for devices that have registered with the EdgeMarc. When you select a protocol on the page, the page refreshes to show information for the selected protocol: SIP or H.323. Clients can be added and deleted without restarting the system.
Add a client to the specified Clients List:
- Choose VoIP > Clients List.
(Optional) Enter text in the Client List Filter field to narrow your clients list search and click Apply. To remove the filter to return to a general search, click Clear.
Configure settings using the information in the following table as a guide. When you have finished configuring settings, click Add to make your changes take effect.
SIP Clients List Parameters

Protocol to Display | Click SIP to display the SIP clients list. |
Client List Filter | Narrows a client search for a subset of clients based on text entered into the field. The Apply button applies the currently typed string, and the Clear button removes the specific search filter. |
Clients List Icons in the first column of the Clients List allow you to manage list entries depending on the protocol: • Trash can—Deletes the entry. • Info—Displays additional information about the client. • Warning—Client has not responded to audits for the given amount of time. |
Add a SIP Client to the Clients List |
Name | Enter the name of the SIP client. |
Address | Enter the IP address of the SIP client. |
Port | Enter the port used by the SIP client. |
Click Add to add the specified SIP client to the Clients List. Manage clients in the Clients List table by clicking the accompanying icons. Delete a client by selecting the checkbox next to the client entry and clicking Delete or by clicking the trash can icon. |
- Choose VoIP > Clients List.
- In the Protocol to Display field, click H.323.

Add an H.323 Client to the Clients List |
Address | Enter the static IP address of the H.323 client. |
Q.931 Port | Enter the Q.931 call signaling port on which the endpoint sends call setup information. Port 1720 is generally used. |
RAS Port | Enter the Registration, Admission and Status (RAS) port. Port 1719 is generally used. |
Alias | Enter the H.323 or E.164 alias for the static client that you are adding. |
Alias Type | Choose the type of alias entered in the Alias field: • E.164 • H.323 |
Click Add to add the specified H.323 client to the Clients List. Manage clients in the Clients List table by clicking the accompanying icons. Delete a client by selecting the checkbox next to the client entry and clicking Delete or by clicking the trash can icon. |
