The switch requires a valid management IP address to enable certain switch features such as firmware upgrade. This IP must be in the subnet of the system LAN network. By default, the management IP is the LAN Network with the last octet being 251. For example, if the LAN Network is 192.168.1.0, the switch management IP would be 192.168.1.251.
Choose Switch from the Configuration Menu.
- View the current firmware version.
