This page describes how to read and reset the counters associated with ISDN and Ethernet ports

 
  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Node Interfaces > Ports.

ISDN Ports

Each ISDN port has three informational displays associated with it; DS1 Port Counters, Port Call Counters, and a Channel Table. This section will describe each of those displays and their contents.

 

DS1 Port Counters

The DS1 Port Counters page provides you with information about transmission and receive errors, transmit and receive frames and bytes, and other port traffic metrics.

To view the DS1 Port Counters page:

  • Click the Counters text in the row corresponding to the port of the counters you wish to view.

Port Call Counters

The Port Call Counters page provides you with information about incoming, outgoing, and current calls on the selected port.
To view the Port Call Counters page:

  • Click the Call Counters text in the row corresponding to the port of the counters you wish to view.

Channel Table Page

The Channel Table allows you to see details about a call in progress on a selected channel.

To view the Channel Table:

  • Click the Channels text in the row corresponding to the port who's Channel Table you want to view.

  • From the Monitor view, click on a Channel icon ().

The Channel Details dialog is displayed.

Detailed Call Information

This page provides you with a detailed list of information about a call which is currently up on the channel selected in the Channel Table.
To view the details of an active call in the Channel Table:

  • Click the Call Details text in the row corresponding to the channel in the Channel Table panel.

Outbound Channel Details

This page provides you with the finest granularity of detail, with information about the current call on the outbound channel.
To view information about a call on an outbound channel

  • Click the Channel Details text in the Outbound Channel Properties pane of the Detailed Call Information panel:
