The Time Update Schedule options enable you to configure the Tenant Update Time Window during CCE deployment; this window specifies the details for when Microsoft automatically updates their CCE appliance. Also, you define how a PSTN Hybrid Site (containing the CCE appliance) is automatically or manually created, and view the data for a specific PSTN Hybrid Appliance. Overall, the Time Update Schedule feature reflects the state of the PSTN Hybrid Site, PSTN Hybrid Appliance and Tenant Update Time Windows.
Three configuration options are available for creating a Time Update Schedule:
- Tenant Update Time Window. Contains the Time window definition for when Microsoft updates the CCE appliance. Configurable values include: Type (daily, weekly, monthly,) Start Time, Duration, etc.
- PSTN Hybrid Site. Contains the identity of the PSTN Hybrid, including values such as the EDGE FQDN, time window for updating the OS, and auto update configuration.
- PSTN Hybrid Appliance. Displays the state of a specific PSTN Hybrid Appliance.
Please note the following:
- The Update Schedule feature uses the ASM (SbcComms) and the Office 365 Tenant credentials configured in the Prepare CCE tab on the CCE wizard (refer to Configuring the SBC Edge for a Single CCE); it uses this resource to interact with the Office 365 Tenant.
- If CCE configuration has not been completed, the WebUI will display an error message (For configuration, refer to Configuring the SBC Edge for a Single CCE).
- An error message is displayed if the SBC fails to connect to Office 365 with the current credentials; this occurs if wrong credentials are entered or if the credentials are changed on the Office 365 portal.
If you deployed your CCE before Release 6.1.2, you must run the Prepare CCE process again:
