Administrators can configure the SBC Edge to display pre-login and post-login messages to users. If one is configured, a pre-login message appears just above the login dialog, and a post-login message is presented as a dialog following successful login.

Modifying the Pre-Login Messages

This message is presented to the user on the login screen

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Security > Login Messages > Pre-Login Message.

  3. Enter the messge in the Pre-Login Message text field.
  4. Click OK.

Modifying the Post-Login Messages

This message is presented to the user immediately following a successful login

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Security > Login Messages > Post-Login Message.

  3. Enter the message text in the Post-Login Message text field.
    (info) If no text is entered, no message will be presented to the user.
  4. Click OK.
