Tone tables allow the SBC Edge administrator to customize the tones a user hears when placing a call. You can modify the tone to match your local PSTN or PBX. The default tone table is configured for the values used in the United States for the following categories: Ringback, Dial, Busy, Congestion, Call Waiting, Disconnect, and Confirmation.

A maximum of eight Tone Tables is permitted in the system.

For SBC SWe Lite Only:

Do not configure a ringback or congestion tone with frequencies greater than 1KHz when also setting for "continuous" (as opposed to Cadence).

To create or modify an Entry to a Tone Table:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Tone Tables > Default Tone Table.
