- Connect to the Microsoft Lync 2010 Front End Server.
There are two methods:- Connect via Remote Desktop, or
- Connect via your web browser (https:\\<Server FQDN>\CSCP)
Launch the Lync Server Control panel.
Adding a Dial Plan
Select Voice Routing
In the New menu, click Site dial plan.
- Select your Site location.
Click OK.
Click OK.
In the Commit menu, click Commit all
- Click Commit.
- Click Close.
Adding a Voice Policy
- Click the voice Policy Tab
In the New menu, click Site policy.
- Select the Site location.
Click OK.
Under Associated PSTN Usages, click New.
- In the Name text box, enter a name for the usage record.
Click New.
- In the Name text box, enter a name for the route.
Next to the Associated gateways text box, click Add.
- Select the gateway to associate with the site.
Click OK.
Click OK.
Click OK to save your PSTN Usage record
Click OK to save the voice policy.
In the Commit menu, select Commit all.
Click Commit.
- Click Close.
Adding a Trunk Configuration
- Click the Trunk Configuration tab.
In the New menu, select Site trunk.
- Select the appropriate site location.
Click OK.
- Select Enable media bypass.
Click OK to save your selections.
In the Commit manu, select Commit all
Click Commit to published the voice routing configuration.
