Usage of the Easy Config wizard to configure the SBC Edge (SBC) does not modify existing configuration. The wizard will simply add the new configuration elements to the SBC.

The SBC Easy Config interface includes a built-in step-by-step setup configuration wizard, which enables end-users to quickly deploy SBC in an Enterprise's VoIP environment with a SIP Trunk Provider to an IP phone. The SBC can be configured to use a SIP trunk to connect to IP phones using the automatic setup wizard as described in the section below.

The following SIP Trunks are supported:

  • ATT SIP Trunk
  • KDDI SIP Trunk
  • NTT DOCOMO Officelink
  • Other SIP Trunk
  • SoftBank ConnecTalk
  • SoftBank White Office
  • Telstra Enterprise SIP Connect
  • Verizon SIP Trunk
  • Broadsoft Trunk

NTT DOCOMO Officelink, SoftBank ConnecTalk, Softbank White Office and Telstra Enterprise SIP Connect are supported in SBC Edge 1000-2000 only.

Broadsoft Trunk is applicable only if the user endpoint is an IP phone.

Depending on the SIP trunk selected, the specific configuration fields are displayed in the Wizard. These are noted below.
