  1. Remote Desktop into the Lync Front End Server.
  2. Launch the Lync Server Topology Builder.
  3. In the left pane, right-click on the Branch Site and select New Branch Site as shown below:

  4. Define the site name and click Next.
    (warning) Note: The computer name must be NetBIOS compliantwith a maximum length of 15 characters.

  5. Enter the site details as shown below and click Next.

  6. Click Finish.

  7. Enter the FQDN of the SBA as shown below.

  8. Select the Front End Pool.

  9. If you have an Edge Server, select the Edge pool (or leave it blank) and click Next.

  10. Define the PSTN gateway as shown below and click Finish.

  11. In the left pane, Right-click the Lync Server 2010 and select Publish Topology to publish the newly created topology.
