These instructions detail how to add a 4th network adapter for  C5..xlarge and later for an SBC SWe Lite instance deployed in AWS. This is required if a separate network is needed.

The SBC SWe Lite instance must be stopped before adding a Network Interface.

Add the adapter as follows:

  1. Access the AWS Management Console.
  2. Click All services > EC2.
  3. From the EC2 dashboard, select Network & Security > Network Interfaces.

  4. Click Create Network Interface.

    The Network Interface must be created in the same location as the SBC SWe Lite instance.


  5. Enter the network information (i.e., Description, Subnet, etc) and click Create.
  6. Attach the network interface to the SBC SWe Lite instance deployed in AWS.
