Prerequisites

Add "SBA123" to Active Directory using the following guidelines:

Add SBC to Skype for Business 2015

Add the SBC to your Skype for Business 2015 as follows:

  1. Remote Desktop into the Lync Front End Server.
  2. Launch the Lync Server Topology Builder.
  3. In the left pane, right-click on Branch Site and select New Branch Site.

  4. Define the site name: Name, Description.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Enter the site details: City, State/Providence, Country/Region Code.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Click Finish.
  9. Locate and expand the folder that includes the SBA sites.

  10. Locate and expand the new branch site (i.e., Skype for Business Server 2015).

  11. Right-click on Survivable Branch Appliance and select New Survivable Branch Appliance.

  12. Enter the FQDN  for the SBA.

  13. Click Next.

    Define new SBA

     

  14. From the Front End pool drop down list, select the applicable Front End pool to be used with the SBA.

  15. Click Next.

  16. From the Edge pool drop down list, select the applicable Edge Server (or leave blank if there is no Edge Server in Deployment).

  17. Click Next.

  18. In the Fully qualified doman name (FDQN) box, enter the FQDN used by the Mediation Server of the SBA..

    Define PSTN Gateway

  19. Click Finish,
  20. Locate and verity the new SBA site.
