To create or modify an FXO CAS Profile:
From the Create CAS Profile drop down box at the top of the CAS Signaling Profile Table Page, select FXO Profile.
Specifies the signaling type for the Loop Start Type.
The options are as follows:
Basic | This type does not provide disconnect signal. Tone-based disconnect supervision should be used, which could take about 20 seconds. |
---|---|
Forward Disconnect | Disconnects the call based on battery removal received from the line. The duration is normally 800 ms and it can be configured. |
Reverse Battery | The call is disconnected based on the tip and ring polarity reversal. |
Specifies the duration, in milliseconds, that the tones are on.
Specifies the duration, in milliseconds, of the pause between tones.
Specifies whether or not a dial tone must be detected before dialing out.
Specifies the time which qualifies as a valid forward disconnect (battery removal). Valid only when Loop Start Type is set to "Forward Disconnect".
Enables and disables the supervision that disconnects a call following silence for the length of time defined in the Silence Based Disconnect Timer field.
Silence is detected only on the audio stream coming into the FXO interface side of the call.
The level below which line noise must remain to qualify for silence. This field is only visible when Silence Based Disconnect supervision is enabled.
Defines the duration of time, in seconds for silence based disconnect. This field is only visible when Silence Based Disconnect supervision is enabled.
Enables and disables tone based disconnect supervision of the CAS line. This field is only visible when Loop Start Type is set to Basic.
Defines the desired on/off cadence time in one cycle for disconnect tone detection. This field is only visible when Tone Based Disconnect is enabled.
Specifies the duration, in milliseconds, of the delay between the off-hook condition and sending digits.
Specifies that, should an inbound FXO call fail before it connects, the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 attempts to connect and play a fast busy tone for a period of time before disconnecting the call.
