Administrators can configure the SBC Edge Portfolio to display pre-login and post-login messages to users. If one is configured, a pre-login message appears just above the login dialog, and a post-login message is presented as a dialog following successful login.

Modifying the Pre-Login Messages

This message is presented to the user on the login screen

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Security > Login Messages > Pre-Login Message.

  3. Enter the message in the Pre-Login Message text field.
  4. Click OK.

Modifying the Post-Login Messages

This message is presented to the user immediately following a successful login

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Security > Login Messages > Post-Login Message.

  3. Enter the message text in the Post-Login Message text field.
    (info) If no text is entered, no message will be presented to the user.
  4. Click OK.


Modifying the Logout Messages

This message is presented to the user when logging out of the SBC Edge. 

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Security > Login Messages > Logout Message.
  3. Enter the message text in the Logout Message text field. 
    Note

    If no text is entered, no message will be presented to the user.

  4. Click OK.
