Yes - starting with SBC Edge Portfolio version 2.0, SIP URI matching for Extension and Phone Context is now supported in Transformation Tables. For more details, see SIP URI Manipulation.

When installing cumulative updates for Teams/Skype SBA, can we skip CUs in between?


Not applicable to SBC SWe Edge.

Our Teams/Skype Front End (FE) server is already running Teams/Skype Feb2022 CU, and our Managing the Skype SBA is still running Jan2021 CU. Can the Teams/Skype SBA be upgraded from Teams/Skype Jan2021 CU directly to Feb2022 CU or does it need to be upgraded to intermediate CUs first then Feb2022 CU?

The latest Cumulative Updates (CU) for Teams/Skype Server contains all previous CUs. It is safe to apply the CU directly without having to increment through each one.

The IP address of all active sessions on the SBC Edge Portfolio are located under the Active User Sessions Table. If you are an administrator, you can terminate their session or delete the user's account, please read Managing Local Users.

What user authentication methods does the SBC Edge Portfolio support?

Other than local authentication, what other user authentication methods does the SBC Edge Portfolio support?

The SBC Edge Portfolio system has three means of authentication:

  1. Local Authentication
  2. Authentication through Active Directory — does not require a SBC Edge license to work
  3. Authentication through RADIUS — does not require a SBC Edge Portfolio license to work
