The SBC Edge Portfolio supports dynamic routing protocols such that the SBC dynamically learns destinations routes and advertises those route to other routers. SBC nodes enabled with dynamic routing learn the routes to all networks that are directly connected to the device. SBC nodes also learn routes from other routers that run the same routing protocols for with the SBC node is configured.
The following routing protocols are supported beginning with release 2.2:
- RIPv2
- OSPF
