The Emergency Services Configuration page contains a setting for specifying the duration of Call Status entries.

Configuring Call Status Duration

  1. in the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Emergency Services > Configuration.

Call Status Duration

Specifies the duration of time, in hours, that a call remains in the Call Status Table.

Call Preemption

Enabling this feature preempts an existing non-emergency call if a 911 call is attempted when all outbound channel resources of a signaling group are full. 

The non-emergency call that will be preempted is located on the signaling group where the emergency call is accepted and routed. The selection is random.

Call preemption applies only to calls on routed signaling groups (whether inbound or outbound) based on configuration.
