The Restart Report feature provides troubleshooting of the SBC 1000/2000 by providing data for the following:

  • Restart History. A list of past SBC restarts and the reason for each restart.
  • H/W Post Results. Log messages from the Hardware Power-On-Self-Test.
  • Core Files. A list of all core files and the ability to delete or download these files.

If the SBC 1000/2000 was operating on software versions 3.2 or older, the version and build information may be unavailable.

Restart History

The SBC maintains a restart history log file (up to the last 20 reports) which provides information about restarts, such as reason for the reboot and time the reboot occurred. The restart history is persistent and cannot be deleted. However, the Restart History is cleared during a factory default.

  • Refresh display of core files
Caution

Core files should only be downloaded or deleted at the direction of Ribbon Global Services.
