Accessing the Static IPv6 Neighbor Table
- In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
In the left navigation pane, go to Protocols > IPv6 > Static Neighbor.
Creating an Entry in a Static IPv6 Neighbor Table
From the Static IPv6 Neighbor Table, click the Create Static IPv6 Neighbor Entry ( ) icon at the top.
Configure the options. See field definitions.
Click OK.
Static IPv6 Neighbor Table - Field Definitions
IPv6 Address
Specifies the IPv6 address of the destination host or subnet (2001:db8:10::200). This address is used to manually map IPv6 addresses to link-layer addresses.
MAC Address
Specifies the MAC address of the destination host or subnet (i.e., 00:01:02:04:08:10). This address is used to manually map IPv6 addresses to link-layer addresses.
Interface
The interface name for this Neighbor entry. This interface is used to map IPv6 address to link-layer addresses. This drop down is populated with each Logical Interface interface configured, which includes both the IPv6 address and IPv6 Link-Local options.
