The feature provides traffic filtering functionality similar to that of the SBC 2000 through the Access Control List feature and provides the same ability to provide layer-3 filtering.

The ASM Firewall feature functions in concert with the native Windows Firewall on the ASM, supplementing the built-in Windows Firewall rules with custom rules defined using this feature. Enabling the ASM Windows Firewall

To enable the ASM Windows firewall:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Application Solution Module > ASM Configuration.


  3. In the Windows Firewall Enabled list, click "Yes*.

  4. Click Apply.
