This article explains setting up SBC Edge Portfolio to use the Music-on-Hold feature.

SBC SWe Edge supports playing MOH from Microsoft Teams during call hold scenarios.

Microsoft Teams uses different call flows for MOH :

  1. SIP REFER based MOH (MOHv1)
  2. SIP RE-INVITE based MOH (MOHv2)

SBC SWe Edge supports both these different call flows.

On the SBC SWe Edge, Music on Hold call flows and interactions with Microsoft Teams and ICE have not been verified, and in certain use cases Music on Hold may not be heard.
