Use the Action window to configure the action the SBC takes when a rule within a Retry profile is triggered. An action is specified by an action index andan  action type and is associated with a specific trigger action rule.

To View Actions

On the SBC main screen, navigate to All > Profiles > Services > Retry Profile > Trigger Action Rule > ActionThe Action window is displayed. Select a Retry Profile and Trigger Action Rule index to filter the list of actions.

To Create an Action

  1. In the Retry Profile list, select the name of the Retry Profile that contains the trigger action rule to which the new action applies.
  2. In the Trigger Action Rule list, select the index of the rule to which you want to add the action. 
  3. Click New ActionThe Create New Action window is displayed.

  4. Use the following table to configure the new action you are adding to the specified trigger action rule and then click Save.

Note: An action can include more than one Action Type. However, it does not support both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses at the same time.

To Edit an Action

To edit an action:

  1. Click the radio button next to the index for the action you want to edit. The Edit Selected Action window opens.
  2. Make the required changes and click Save.

 To Copy an Action

 To copy an action and make changes to the copy:

  1. Click the radio button next to the index for the action you want to copy.

  2. Click Copy Action. The Copy Selected Action window opens.
  3. Make the required changes and click Save.

 To Delete an Action

To delete an action: 

  1. Click the radio button next to the index for the action you want to delete.
  2. Click the delete icon (X) at the end of the row.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
