To enable some SBC Core features, customers must install the associated license(s). Ribbon delivers node-locked licenses to customers in the form of XML files called license bundles. A license bundle is tied to a particular SBC Core system and contains a list of features that will be enabled on that system.

The EMA License Management UI enables the installation of SBC node-locked license bundles.

SBC SWe supports a licensing model referred to as network-wide domain licensing (NWDL) in a limited number of deployments. Contact your Ribbon representative for information on the licensing options that are available in your environment.
