This object displays the user configured LI Call Data Control Channel.

To View Call Data Channel

To view Call Data Channel, log on as "Calea" user. For more information, refer to Users and Application Management - User and Session Management.

On SBC main screen, navigate to Configuration > Intercept > Call Data Channel.

The Call Data Channel can be checked for default Address Context. Use the drop-down box to select the default Address Context.

The Call Data Channel window is displayed.

To Edit Call Data Channel

To edit any of the Call Data Channel in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Call Data Channel name.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Call Data Channel

To create a new Call Data Channel, click New Call Data Channel tab on the Call Data Channel List panel.

Note

The displayed fields depend on the values selected for Intercept Standard and Vendor ID  fields. If a parameter is visible, then it is supported for that LI configuration.

 

Before proceeding to create an LI configuration, note the following LI flavors and configuration, which are possible with different combinations of Intercept Standard and Vendor ID parameter values.

Use Intercept Flavors and Configuration Details to decide a configuration and set the parameter values accordingly. For example, select Packetcable as Intercept Standard and Ss8 as Vendor ID to set PCSI LI configuration.

Parameter

Description

Name

Specifies the name of the IP interface group used to stream to the LI Server.

Intercept Standard

Specifies the intercept standard used. The options are:

  • Etsi
  • Packetcable  (default)
  • Three Gpp

Use the Intercept Flavors and Configuration Details to set the value for the desired configuration.

Vendor ID

Specifies the vendor of the LI server used. The options are:

  • None (default)
  • Group Two Thousand
  • Ss8
  • Utimaco
  • Verint

Use the Intercept Flavors and Configuration Details to set the value for the desired configuration.

Note

The remaining parameters depend on the values selected for Intercept Standard and Vendor ID parameters. If a parameter is visible, then it is supported for that LI configuration.

Pri State

Specifies if the communication to the primary LI Server is enabled or not. Options are:

  • Disabled (default)
  • Enabled

 

Sec State

Specifies if the communication to secondary LI Server is enabled or not. Options are:

  • Disabled (default)
  • Enabled

 

Pri Mode

Specifies the mode of the primary server. Options are:

  • Active
  • Standby
  • Out of service (default)

Sec Mode

Specifies the mode of the secondary server. Options are:

  • Active
  • Standby
  • Out of service (default)

Pri IP Address

Specifies the primary LI Server's IP address where Call Data Channel messages are sent. Default - 0.0.0.0

Sec IP Address

Specifies the secondary LI Server's IP address where Call Data Channel messages are sent. Default - 0.0.0.0

Pri Port

Specifies the primary LI Server's UDP port where Call Data Channel messages are sent. Default - 0

Ka Timer

Specifies the Keep Alive Timer in seconds. Default - 5

Retries

Specifies the number of retries before LI Call Data Channel is considered failed. Default - 3

IP Interface Group Name

Specifies the name of the IP interface group used to stream to the LI Server.

Li Pol Dip For Regd Ood Msg

Specifies that the policy dip to PSX for the Out-Of-Dialog messages of the registered user is enabled or not. Options are:

  • Disabled (default)
  • Enabled
RTCP InterceptionThis flag indicates whether RTCP information is intercepted or not. Options are:
  • Disabled (default)
  • Enabled
Media IP Interface Group NameThe name (1-23 characters) of the IP interface group that is used to stream media packets to the LI server.
Dsr Protocol Version

Signifies the intercepted X2 signaling protocol version towards the mediation servers. The default value 0 maintains backward compatibility with SBC Core 8.0 or earlier

Note

The user calea with the role "Calea" is not allowed to perform "Copy" operation.

To Delete Call Data Channel

Note

If Call Data Channel which you wish to delete is configured for PCSI or IMS, then ensure that:

  • Media and Signaling (for IMS configuration only) mode are Out of Service and
  • Media and Signaling (for IMS configuration only) state are Disabled

before performing the below procedure. Refer Media - TCP and Media - UDP to edit media profile and Mediation Server - Signaling to edit signaling.

 

To delete any of the created Call Data Channel, click the radio button next to the specific Call Data Channel which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Call Data Channel from the list.
