This object displays the logical management IP interface.

A Logical Management Interface must include both Physical Management Interfaces. Therefore, it should contain all four interfaces. Otherwsie, this will result in a confd restart and a healthcheck timeout (system down time) if the physical interface underlying the logical interface goes down.

To View Logical Mgmt IP Interface

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Setup > Management > Logical Mgmt IP Interface. The Logical Mgmt Ip Interface window is displayed.

To Edit Logical Mgmt IP Interface

To edit any of the IP Interfaces in the list, click the radio button next to the specific IP Interface name.

Make the required changes and click Save to save the changes.

To Create Logical Mgmt IP Interface

To create a new Logical Mgmt IP Interface, click New Logical Mgmt IP Interface tab on the Logical Mgmt IP Interface List panel.

Enter all the required fields. You can click Show only required fields at the left hand bottom of the panel to view and enter only the required fields to create a new Logical Mgmt IP Interface.

Description

Name

Indicates the name of the logical IP interface.

Mgmt Ip Interface Group Name

Indicates the management IP interface group used by this logical IP interface.

Ip Address

Indicates the logical IP Address of the Interface.

Use IP Addr As Snmp Source

When set as true, this flag enables SBC to receive SNMP requests on this logical management IP address and to use this address as the source for SNMP responses, alarms, and traps. Options are:

  • true
  • false (default)

This flag can only be enabled on one logical management interface at a time.

State

Indicates the administrative state of the logical management IP interface. Changes may only be made while disabled and will only take effect when enabled next.

To Copy Logical Mgmt IP Interface

To copy any of the created Logical Mgmt IP Interface and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific IP Interface to highlight the row.

Click Copy Logical Mgmt Ip Interface tab on the Logical Mgmt IP Interface List panel.

The Copy Selected Logical Mgmt Ip Interface window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Logical Mgmt IP Interface is displayed at the bottom of the original Logical Mgmt IP Interface in the Logical Mgmt IP Interface List panel.

To Delete Logical Mgmt IP Interface

To delete any of the created Logical Mgmt IP Interface, click the radio button next to the IP Interface which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Logical Mgmt IP Interface from the list.
