  • Administration > System Administration > Configuration Script and Template Import

The Import / Export Status Monitor panel displays status messages:

  • While the configuration view is being exported, the message shown is: Saving configuration summary [configuration name]
  • When the configuration is saved, the message shown is: Configuration summary [configuration name]has been saved
  • If an error message is returned by the application back-end when you save the configuration, it is displayed in the status monitor.

Note - Limitations

Last Saved Filename Not Displayed Correctly

On the Configuration Summary List table, enter a file name in the "Enter config filename" textbox and click Save summary of Current Configuration. After a number of configuration files (mean of observed instances = 3) are exported successfully to the SBC, the Import/Export Status Monitor pane fails to display the most recently exported configuration file in the banner message. Rather, it displays the previously exported file's name, although the most recent file is saved correctly.

If you navigate to some other EMA object using the left navigation panel and revisit View Config Summary, the banner message displayed on the Import/Export Status Monitor pane reflects the correct/most recently exported configuration file's name. The correct file name of the most recently exported file is also displayed if you log out of the EMA, log on again, and then navigate to Administration > System Administration > View Config Summary.

IE11 Browser Window Freezes

If the SBC is heavily configured and you are using Internet Explorer 11, repeated attempts to view the entire configuration by scrolling down the browser window on which the View Config Summary object is opened may freeze the browser.

In such situations, close the browser window and log on to the EMA again using a different browser, preferably Mozilla Firefox/Google Chrome.
