The Diameter library is fully integrated into the SCM process to allow the SBC to establish a connection to a PSX running a lower Diameter version. In this way, the SBC can utilize the complete Diameter library to encode Policy Requests and decode Policy Responses from the PSX using the Diameter version supported by the PSX.
