In this section:

This object is used to define ingress IP prefixes. Up to 128 Ingress Ip Prefix entries may be assigned to a GW trunk group. Ingress peers matching these ingress IP prefixes are assigned to the specified Gateway Trunk Group parameters.

To View Ingress Ip Prefix

On SBC main screen, navigate to All > Address Context > Zone > Gw Trunk Group > Ingress Ip Prefix. The Ingress Ip Prefix can be checked for each Address Context, Zone, and Gw Trunk Group or for all the Address Contexts, Zones, and Gw Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone, and Gw Trunk Group.

To Edit Ingress Ip Prefix

To edit any of the Ingress Ip Prefix in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Ingress Ip Prefix name.

The object Ingress Ip Prefix can not be edited as the fields are read-only.

To Create Ingress Ip Prefix

To create a new Ingress Ip Prefix, click New Ingress Ip Prefix tab on the Ingress Ip Prefix List panel.

Ingress Ip Prefix parameters

Parameter

Description

Ip Address

Specifies the IPv4 or IPv6 addresses of ingress peers. Enter the address in the following format:

  • IPv4 – Specifies the V4 IP address in dotted decimal form (for example 10.11.12.0 24).
  • IPv6 – The V6 IP address in hexadecimal/colon form (for example, fd00:21:445:128::7880 64).

Prefix Length

Specifies the number of bits of address which form the network part of the IP address. Rest of the bits (128 – prefix length) specify the host part of the IP address. The value ranges from 0 to 128 and the default value is 0.

To Copy Ingress Ip Prefix

To copy any of the created Ingress Ip Prefix and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Ingress Ip Prefix to highlight the row.

Click Copy Ingress Ip Prefix tab on the Ingress Ip Prefix List panel.

The Copy Selected Ingress Ip Prefix window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Ingress Ip Prefix is displayed at the bottom of the original Ingress Ip Prefix in the Ingress Ip Prefix List panel.

To Delete Ingress Ip Prefix

To delete any of the created Ingress Ip Prefix, click the radio button next to the specific Ingress Ip Prefix which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Ingress Ip Prefix from the list.
