Media RTCP Control Parameters

Parameter Description
Sender Report IntervalWhen RTCP termination is enabled in the Packet Service Profile, this value specifies the initial interval for generating the sender/receiver report. The allowed range is between 5 and 120 seconds. The default value is 5.
Send BYEPacket

When RTCP termination is enabled in the Packet Service Profile, this option specifies whether or not to send RTCP BYE packets when calls are terminated. The options are:

  • Disabled – Use this setting to suppress RTCP BYE packets in pass-through scenarios when the RTCP terminationForPassthrough option is enabled and the call is not established. This setting is useful to avoid one-way audio when Dynamic LRBT and RTCP are in use at the same time.
  • Enabled (default) – the SBC sends an RTCP BYE packet when a call is terminated. This setting affects all calls configured with RTCP termination.
