The global carrier object allows you to configure the carrier. Each Carrier is assigned a carrier identification code. The SBC configuration allows you to assign a name to the four-digit carrier code, making it easier to remember. Carrier name is a parameter for trunk groups, trunk group profiles, and destination trunks.
On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Call Routing > Carrier. The Carrier window is displayed.
To edit any of the Carriers in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Carrier name.
The Edit Selected Carrier window is displayed below. But in this case, you would not be able to edit any fields as the fields are read-only.
To create a new Carrier, click New Carrier tab on the Carrier List panel.
The Create New Carrier window is displayed.

To copy any of the created Carrier and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Carrier to highlight the row.
Click Copy Carrier tab on the Carrier List panel.
The Copy Selected Carrier window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.
The following additional field is displayed:
Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Carrier is displayed at the bottom of the original Carrier in the Carrier List panel.
To delete any of the created Carrier, click the radio button next to the specific Carrier which you want to delete.
Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.
Click Yes to remove the specific Carrier from the list.
