Level MC3 refers to critical congestion level. By default, this level is out of service (disabled) since the adaptive congestion controls (which activate at level MC2) prevent the box from reaching this level. The following are the set threshold and clear threshold percentages set for level MC3 when the defaultMC3 (default) Overload Profile is assigned:

  • Set threshold: 98%
  • Clear threshold: 95%

To change whether congestion level MC3 is in service or which profile is assigned to level MC3, on the SBC main screen, go to All > System > Congestion > Level MC3.

The Level MC3 window is displayed.
